    Missi,

This league will really improve your game and consistancy in repeating shots. Hang in there and focus on those spares. I don't know if you are right or left handed but using your plastic ball for the 4,6,7, and 10 pins will help on a tougher condition. Best of Luck:)

    Missi,
Well it has worked for me in the past and most people don't know that it is something they can get. Hope it works for you. Take care. Thanks again. Vance

    Missi,
Sorry to hear about why your getting tired, hope you get that all back on track soon. Keep up the good work. Sounds like your well on your way. But maybe something to keep in mind for long tournaments that has worked for me. I also use 16 lbs bowling balls but for long tournaments 14+ games in one day, I start with my 16 lbs bowling balls then about game 9 or so I go a mid to high 15 lbs. (15 lbs 12 oz. to 15 lbs 15 oz.)When I change to a the lighter ball in the late going I don't feel the difference and I don't give up any of the carry. Take care of yourself. And congrats on the Doubles. Vance

    Hi Missi,

I hope your bowling is going well. But I think we finally figured out the problem with the Bite. My middle finger was 1/16 off and I was not getting a good release off of by hand and so the ball was late turning over. It's amazing how little something like a 1/16 can make the ball just a litle off.

So hopefully we can get this ball rolling now but lately the lanes have been breaking down so fast I have not really needed to use it because they have dried out.

    Hi Missi,

Yes I did but I still have not had a chance to really use the ball yet. Because of the humidity in my area right now the lanes are breaking down very quickly and I have been using my Ebonite Gamebreaker. Mainly because I can be aggressive with it and it doesn't have the big backend of the Bite.

I did try the Bite during practice last night and it was hitting the pocket so hard I kept leaving 8, 9, and 10 pins. It just blew through the pocket and I plan on trying it more during the summer league.

But the Gamebreaker has also been a great ball for me. I have rolled 300 and 800 this year with it.

Hi Missi, Okay the pro shop finally got a Bite in and drilled for me yesterday. So I tried it out a couple of throws last night and I shouldn't have because my first game and blew a possible 800 series.

I did like the way it rolled but the grip was not comfortable and a little loose so I felt like I was having to grip the ball instead of it just rolling off of my hand.

So I went back to my Gamebreaker and never missed the pocket from the 5th frame of the first game I was flush in the pocket and threw a 750 series.

So they are going to work on the thumb hole and see if we can get that fixed. They may have just beveled the thumb a little too much.

    Hi Missi,

I have actually heard more positive than negative. I think most of the negative was because the ball was not drilled correctly or the ball was like your gamebreaker where the pin was so far out that it could not be drilled correctly.

The guy at my pro shop is looking for a specific pin placement so he can get the exact drill pattern for me.

The new Fury Pearl has a pretty decent back end to it and flows very nicely off of my hand. People say I have a very smooth and quiet delivery because most say I didn't even hear the ball hit the lane.

Good luck with the game breaker it is a really good ball for the price.

Just wondering if you decided to bowl the PBA League. I am going to start mine this Wednesday & can't wait! I think the experience will be great! Good Luck to you on your come back. I quit for 4 years and found it to be a challanging road, but definatly worth it. I have been back into it for about 3 1/2 years and finally feel that I am doing better than before. Good luck to you!
